This Ferris wheel is gigantic. It must be 20 or 30 stories tall. (Viewed from the 10 deck of the ship, we are only 1/3rd of the way up it.) It was located only a few hundred yards from where our ship docked. It took 15 minute to rotate one time and cost about $8/person. We did not take it because we were tired when we got back, and neither of us particularly like heights. However, in hind sight it would have provided some wonderful photos. Our ship’s captain is really great. He spun the ship around in harbor as we pulled out so that everyone would have a view of the Ferris Wheel.
