We took 100 photos in Athens and 1800 photos so far on the trip. Another passenger said they shot 1000 photo on an overland excursion in Egypt.

We’ll likely take 2500 to 3000 total photos when we are done with the cruise. It sounds like others may have as many as 20,000 to 30,000 photos by the end of the cruise.

This intensifies my advice for future long-cruisers: at a minimum buy a new simple pocket camera with at least a 7x zoom. If you are more into photography, also get (or have) a great single lense reflect digital camera.
