1) Temple of Hatchepsut. This female was Pharaoh for about 30 years, dressing as a man and claiming to be direct child of the sun god. This structure looks like a modern building set into the side of the mountain.
2) Colossi of Memnon. Two 70 foot tall figures that guarded a temple that used to stand here prior to destruction by flooding of the Nile.
