Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh

Here is another great idea that we figured out too late.

In Oman, you can buy frankincense at the local markets as easily and more inexpensively than you can anywhere in the world. We do have a small glob of frankincense that we picked off of a plant (not sure whether this is permitted or not), and we are letting it dry to see how it evolves.

So the great opportunity that we missed is that you buy the frankincense and myrrh while you are here, then next Christmas add a segment of gold from an old necklace and send gold, frankincense and myrrh to friends and family for Christmas. Pretty cold, yes? We did not think of this in time.
