Hotel in Bayeau

We stayed in a hotel in Bayeau, France, on the night of 5/1. This is a small town of 15,000 that is in the Normandy region.

We selected the hotel on the basis of it being at a place that was near the town center, and we did not want to drive any more. It turns out that the hotel was built in 1928 and has had a lot of famous guests. Their bar area has lots of signed photos of past guests, including: General Eisenhower, General Bradley, General Montgomery, Jacque Chirac, John Wayne, Lauren Bacall, Catherine Deneuve, and Tom Hanks (during the filming of “Saving Private Ryan”).
