Bruges is a city of many canals. Our family did one of these tours many years ago, but we ran out of time today. You can see from the picture why they refer to Bruges as the “Venice of the North”.
Bruges is also a city that has many bikes. More bikes than cars. An individual had to watch out more for the bikes than the cars. Here was an antique bike that was leaning against a shop in town.
